InuYasha is a half demon. Fifty years ago he was sealed to a tree by his main squeeze Kikyo. One day a present day girl named Kagome was pulled through the Bone Eaters Well which acted as a portal through time by a cetipeede demon. She broke InuYasha's seal. Then he killed the demon and saved her life. (Kagome is the reencarnation of Kikyo)

      The Shikon Jewel aka the Jewel of Four Souls is a magnificent object. It can grant the greatest desires of  both humans and demons. InuYasha sought to steal it to become a full flegged demon. It was Kikyo's job as guardian of the jewel had to protect it there for she sealed InuYasha. When she died she took the jewel with her to Hell. Fifty years later the Jewel of Four Souls manifested into the world of the living. It was then stolen by a demon. When Kagome killed the demon with her sacred arrow the jewel shattered. the shards were skattered through out Fudal Japan. Now InuYasha and Kagome must find the shards of the Shikon Jewel and keep them out of the gubby little hands of demons and humans with corrupt souls. (Kikyo was brought back to life by some creepy which lady that only lasted one epesode. Now Kikyo wants to kill InuYasha.)

       There once was a human named Onigumo. When he was on the verge of death he let a hord of demons devower him body and soul so he could be reborn as the half demon Naraku. He like InuYasha seeks the Shikon Jewel to become a full demon. He has caused pain and suffering in the lives of all the main characters. (I'll tell you about the main characters in the next paragraph, then I'll tell you how Naraku ruenned their lives.) Naraku can create minions from his own flesh. (nasty right) His more famous creations are Kagura and Kanna. Kagura controles the wind  and I'm not exactly sure what Kanna does. If you've been watching the new seson of InuYasha you would know that Naraku also resurected the Band of Seven a vicious group of mecinaries who were betrayed and had their heads chopped off when their employers decided they were to blood thirsty.

       Durring their travels InuYasha and Kagome were joined by some more people looking for a chance at mutilating Naraku. First they met Shippo. His parents were killed by the thunder brothers. InuYasha killed them shotly after when they thretened Kagome's life. Next was Miroku. He's a perverted monk. I can't think of a better way to describe him. Fans of Pokemon and ex-veiwers know how Brock acts around girls, well Miroku takes it to the next level. The first impression that he gives girlsis asking them to bear his child/ren. He was cursed by Naraku with the wind tunnel. And then there was Sango.(Miroku has a real "feel" for her) Sango is a demon slayer. Naraku slaughtered all her friends and family and then brought her younger brother, Kohaku, back to life and turned him against her.

        Sesshomaru is InuYasha's older, full demon, half brother. He is one of the most powerful demons in all of Fudal Japan. He has two swords: Tensusagia and Tokijin. In the begining of the series he wanted InuYasha'a sword Tetsusagia until he got Tokijin. (for more info check wepon list) He travels Japan with his two "little" (and I mean they are SHORT) sidekicks Jaken a little green dude who Sesshomaru hates and a human girl named Rin. Sesshomaru doesn't want the jewel shards or anything. In fact I don't know why he wants to kill Naraku either. He and InuYasha have fought many times, but if they hadn't worked together they wouldn't have destroyed the Sounga. Also it was because they worked together that they nearly destroyed Naraku.

October 29, 2005 on my birthday Kikyo finaly died! I have always hated Kikyo and now she's finaly dead. That was the greatest birthday present I could ever ask for.

1. He disgised himself as InuYasha and killed Kikyo.

2. Beliving InuYasha had betrayed her Kikyo sealed InuYasha.

3. He cursed Miroku with the wind tunnel which will one day swallow him up.

4. He slaughtered Sango's village, brought her little brother, Kohaku, back to life, and turned him against her.
